I actually really, really like the ending and found it funny.
I like how they’re more disappointed that the proposal was interrupted than “doing their job” and respond to the terrorist attack. Also, the ending leaves plenty of room for a sequel—something they are already discussing about. Because of this series, Joe has signed with TVB again and Jessica is waiting for everything to finalize before making her decision. I really look forward to a sequel. Can’t wait to see more of their relationship’s development as well as Himhim and Mandy’s!

The only other Jessica/Joe pairing I can remember was five years ago in The Drive of Life. Oh, nostalgia. It’s really nice to still see a TVB series being led by last generation’s fadan/siusang.
